Bonnie Taylor, 70 of Montezuma, Iowa, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Mahaska Health Partnership Hospice Serenity House at Oskaloosa, Iowa.  As per her wish, her body has been cremated and no services are planned. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of the arrangements.

Bonnie Lou Taylor was born on June 21, 1954 at Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Carolyn (Sue) Ingram Altemeier.    She grew up in the Brooklyn area and graduated from Brooklyn Community School.  On November 29, 1975, Bonnie was united in marriage to Gearold Taylor at the Grace United Methodist Church in Brooklyn, Iowa.  To this union two children were born, Nick and Malinda.  Bonnie worked at Walmart and was a manager/seamstress.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Nick Taylor and her daughter, Malinda (Brent) Slings of Montezuma; several grandchildren; her brothers, Stan Altemeier, Chris Altemeier, and Steve Altemeier; and her sister, Nancy Evans.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gearold Taylor, her parents; and a grandson,  Jeramiha Taylor.
