Clara Belle Fink, 102 of Ankeny and formerly of Lake Ponderosa near Montezuma, passed away Monday morning, November 10, 2025 at the Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny. As was her wish, her body has been cremated and no services are planned. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.

Clara Belle Fink, the daughter of David and Henriette (Friesenborg) Malloch, was born on October 17, 1923 in Garner, Iowa. She graduated from Williams High School and attended to Beauty School. On March 24, 1973, Clara Belle was united in marriage to George Fink at the Vernon Lutheran Church in Dows, Iowa. She was a longtime farmers wife and later worked for Mitchell Transmission in Des Moines. She enjoyed her lake home at Lake Ponderosa for over 40 years where she loved to fish and host parties.

Her legacy will be cherished by her son, David (Mary) Johnson of Ankeny; grandchildren, Tami Johnson, Ken Adams and Robbie Johnson; great grandchildren, Allison Adams, Zackery Adams and Aiden Johnson; great-great grandchild, Jared Adams; her daughter-in-law, Sherry Johnson along with other relatives and many friends.

Clara Belle was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George "Bud" Fink; a son, Bill Johnson and a grandson, Mike Adams.
