Daniel Lankford, 26, of What Cheer died Monday, December 26, 2022. A visitation will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 pm on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer. No service is planned. Burial will be held privately.  Memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Daniel Oren Lankford was born on August 11, 1996 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the son of Timothy and Petra Kreklau Lankford. He was a 2015 graduate of Tri-County High School. Daniel loved fishing, spending time outdoors and spending time with his tiny best friend (his niece). He was cherished by his family and many of his friends. Daniel was a kind hearted soul who was there when anyone needed him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Darlene and Larry Lankford, Raymond Gillen and Margot Rabiega.

Daniel is survived by his parents, Timothy Lankford and Petra Lankford; five brothers Cameron Lankford, Markus Radtke, Patrick Radtke, Alexander Radtke and Zack Radtke; a sister, Adrianna Lankford; an uncle, Terry (Amanda) Lankford; his little best friend and niece, Isabella; and his three nephews, Decker, Phenix and Cooper.
