Delores Diane Vonk, 61 of Montezuma passed away Sunday morning, November 25, 2018 at the Montezuma Specialty Care in Montezuma. A memorial service will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in Montezuma. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held in the Graceland Cemetery in Pella at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vonk family.

Delores Diane Vonk, the daughter of Jack and Delores (Johns) Kellogg was born on September 18, 1957 in Albia, Iowa. She attended school in Ottumwa. Diane babysat and later worked at Pella Hospital. She also taught vacation Bible School with longtime family friend, Jeanetta Van Der Hart. Diane enjoyed fishing, morel mushroom hunting, raising animals (wild turkey) and loved anything to do with nature. She also enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, playing Bingo and above all, visits from her granddaughter, McKayla.

She is survived by her son, Michael Vonk; a granddaughter, McKayla Vonk; three sisters, Joyce "Queenie", Doris and Roberta; an adopted son (Michael's best friend), Todd Roberts; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Randy Vonk; step father, Robert Dowd Sr. and two brothers, Michael Kellogg and Robert Dowd Jr.
