Dolores Grimm, 95 of Delta, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Ridgewood Specialty Care in Ottumwa. A graveside funeral service will begin at 10:30 am on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Millersburg Community Cemetery. No visitation is planned. Memorials may be made to the family.

Dolores V. Grimm, daughter of Lee and Minnie Garrett Tolles was born on March 10, 1923, in Springfield, Iowa. She attended Springfield and Delta Schools. She married Walter Grimm in November of 1944. They raised their family and lived in Delta. Dolores did cleaning, laundry and interior decorating for people for many years. She worked for Continental Manufacturing and Big Smith, Inc. in Oskaloosa. She then worked for Rolscreen/Pella Windows until she retired.

Dolores is survived by her sons, Allen Grimm of Ottumwa and Walter L .Grimm of Delta; a daughter, Kristie Lynch of New Sharon; her sister, Babe Hauschilt of What Cheer; her brother, Leland Tolles of What Cheer; a grandson, Joe Lynch; and three great grandchildren, Sierra, Emily and Brody all of Fremont; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, great grandparents, her husband Walter, a brother Vernie and an infant brother.
