Dorothy Marcangelo, 95, a resident of Windsor Manor in Grinnell and formerly of Chicago, IL passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, June 19, 2019 at Windsor Manor in Grinnell. As was her wish, her body has been cremated and graveside services will be held at a later time. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of New Sharon is helping Dorothy's family with arrangements.

Dorothy Helen Marcangelo, the daughter of Phillip Hopper and Lillian Hopper, was born on May 13, 1924 in Chicago, IL. She was united in marriage to Emanuel Marcangelo and resided in Chicago, IL until she relocated to Grinnell, IA.

Dorothy spent most of her years as a homemaker, caring for her husband. She enjoyed traveling to foreign countries with extended family and friends. She volunteered at senior clubs, enjoyed bingo and helping others. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and needlework.

Her memory will be honored by her extended family in Virginia, Arthur Kennis (Nephew), Loretta Ricketts (Great Niece), Arthur Kennis Jr. (Great Nephew) and their families.
