Emma Olin, 93 of What Cheer, Iowa passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021, beginning at 1:00 pm at the Sixteen Cemetery near What Cheer, Iowa. Memorial contributions may be directed to the What Cheer Fire Department. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of What Cheer is in charge of the arrangements.

Emma Nadine Olin was born on November 9, 1927 to Oscar O. Olin and Maude I. Olin in Deep River, Iowa. She graduated from What Cheer High School with the class of 1945 and attended and graduated from the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa. Emma worked for Robinson Motor Company in What Cheer for over 25 years, Wagler Motor Company in Sigourney, and the Department of Infectious Disease at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City before retiring. She was a member of the What Cheer Baptist Church.

Emma is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Maude Olin; two brothers, Neal Edward Olin and Oscar Glendon Olin; two sisters, Nola Leora Kitzmann and Nellie Leah Karsten; one nephew and three brothers-in-law.

She is survived by two sisters, Mina Sue Olin of What Cheer and Angela B. Myers Sellers Garett of Eddyville, Iowa; six nieces, three nephews, and many great nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
