Frances Jean Schillinger, 88, passed away at her home in Orion on Monday, June 10, 2019. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family graveside will be held in the Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma.

Frances was born on January 23, 1931, in Grinnell, Iowa. She was the daughter of Lester and Eva (Tish) Snook. She was a wonderful mother, sister and farmer.

Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Raes and Marsha Jo (Ronald) Samuelson; 10 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Eldon (Reca) Snook, Roy (Kathy) Snook; 1 sister, Gladys Arthur; 2 sisters-in-law, Betty Snook and Pat Snook.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son and daughter-in-law, Roger D. and Sue Allen; son, Michael Allen; son-in-law, Don Raes; great granddaughter, Haley Raes; brothers, Willis (Phyllis) Snook, Floyd (Joan) Snook, Edward Snook, Donald Snook, Keith Snook; sisters, Lucille Tish, Betty VanDee; sister-in-law, Eleanor Snook, and brother-in-law, Keith Arthur.
