Frank Kitzmann, 70, of Keswick, died at home on Monday, May 27, 2024. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 30, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Burial will be in the Sixteen Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Keswick Fire & Rescue.

Franklin Dewayne Kitzmann was born March 1, 1954, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Dewayne and Leora Olin Kitzmann. He was a 1972 graduate of Tri-County where here excelled in Wrestling and FFA. Frank was united in marriage to Arnolda Dobb on June 18, 1977, to this union came two daughters, Amy and Amanda. He began his very active career working for Jim Moore as a farm hand. Then in 1979 he excepted a position with Kaiser Quarry. In 2021 Frank retired as Quarry Supervisor for Doud Stone. Frank loved to stay busy doing all types of jobs. In 1996 he took over the Kitzmann family farming operation. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and attended the Stock Car races in Oskaloosa every Wednesday night. Frank never knew a stranger and could talk for hours to someone he just met. He took great pride in being a provider for his family and never hesitated to help when and where he could.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Diane Kitzmann.

Frank is survived by his wife Arna Kitzmann; two daughters, Amy Kitzmann and Amanda Moennich; a sister, Karolyn (Alan) Trumpold; and three grandsons, Aaron Kitzmann, Bryson Arduser and Tyler Moennich.
