Gail Renaud, 95 of New Sharon passed away Friday evening, November 8, 2019 at the Oskaloosa Care Center. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the New Sharon United Methodist Church. Burial will be held in the Friends Cemetery in New Sharon with a reception to follow. Visitation will begin after 3:00 pm Monday, November 11, 2019 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in New Sharon with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stilwell Public Library in New Sharon or the New Sharon United Methodist Church. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of New Sharon is in charge of arrangements.

Nina Gail Busby Renaud, the daughter of Clifford and Eunice (Hess) Busby, was born on April 4, 1924 in New Sharon, Iowa. She was a 1941 graduate of New Sharon High School. Gail was married to Keith Renaud on September 19, 1942. A lifelong resident of New Sharon, she and her husband farmed west of New Sharon where they lived in the farm house from 1946 to 2008. Gail was a faithful member of the New Sharon United Methodist Church, J.W.N. Neighborhood Club, a 4-H Leader of Prairie Roses and a district officer of the Ottumwa District United Methodist Women. She enjoyed North Mahaska School events and found great enjoyment in her flower gardens and supporting her family in their school and church activities. She camped over 50 years at the Iowa State Fair and was proud to make it a family tradition.

Gail's legacy is honored by her children, Karen (Jack) Prewitt of Omaha, Kevin (Linda) Renaud of New Sharon and Kathy (Robert) Huber of North English; three grandchildren, Jenny (Travis) Gay, Stacie (Brent) McKenna and Erin (Caleb) Koehn; a step granddaughter, Sandi (Timothy) Boeyink; great grandchildren, Madison, Brody and Mallory Koehn and step great grandchildren, Trey, Luke and Brynn Boeyink; nieces, nephews and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Keith Renaud in October 2007 and three sisters, Audrey Ferguson, Donna Rempe and Francis Busby.
