Gary Goreham, 79 of Lawrence Kansas died March 26 ^th 2022 at Kansas City Kansas.  A private family burial will be held June 17, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Pleasant Township Cemetery in Ewart, Iowa. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.

Gary Lee Goreham, the son of Lyle and Ruth Thompson Goreham was born on December 25 ^th 1942 in Montezuma.  He graduated from Grinnell High School. On January 31,1965 he was united in marriage to Ruth Vondran.  To this union 2 children were adopted, Mellisa from South Korea and Sha from Vietnam. Gary spent his career working for the Grinnell Post Office where he retired in the early 2000s. Gary was an avid reader, especially westerns. He loved to travel and spent his early 20's exploring Europe during his time in the Navy. After he retired from the post office, Gary and his wife Ruth traveled through the United States through semi truck driving and RV transporting. Gary had a strong faith in God and enjoyed being a Promise Keeper and attending weekly bible study.

He is survived by his children, Mellisa Goreham Hutchinson, her husband Mark Hutchinson and their children Wyatt and Beckett Hutchinson.  His son, Shalom Goreham and his wife Becky Goreham and their children Mackenzy Goreham, Teagan Goreham and her daughter Annalysia Goreham and Kealeigh Goreham. He is survived by his sister, Suzie Goreham Elliot.
