Harriet Fisk, 85 of Lynnville passed away Saturday afternoon, October 22, 2022 at the St. Francis Manor in Grinnell. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Lynnville Friends Church. Visitation will begin after 12:00 pm Monday, October 24, 2022 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in New Sharon with the family present from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Burial will be held in the Woodland Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lynnville-Sully Athletic Boosters. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of New Sharon is in charge of arrangements.

Harriet Diane Fisk, the daughter of Theodore Vernon and Pauline Sadie (Stephen) Tice, was born on September 6, 1937 in Mahaska County, Iowa.  She graduated from Searsboro Consolidated School on May 18, 1955.  On September 11, 1955 Harriet married Benny Dale Fisk.  To this union, one son and one daughter were born - Kraig Timothy Fisk and Kristine Diane Fisk.  They lived at a farm south of Searsboro for many years until they moved to Lynnville.  Harriet loved to work as housewife, acquire cardinal bird collectibles, attend sporting events, and golf with her husband, Ben. Harriet worked for James Greenhouse for many years, and she was an avid seamstress. Together, they attended and camped at the Iowa State Fair for more than 40 years.

Benny and Harriet had 2 children - Kraig Timothy Fisk of Searsboro and Kristine Diane Fisk of Fairfax, Virginia; 3 grandchildren - Jason (Jeana) Fisk of Searsboro, Joshua (Valerie) Fisk of Searsboro, and Taylor (Zach McNaul) Fisk of Lynnville; 1 adopted grandson, Mike Large; 13 great children - Kobe (McKinley) Fisk, Kolton Fisk, Carson Fisk, Kaylynn Fisk, Clay Sandifer, Lane Fisk, Landyn Fisk, Gavin Fisk, Cori Fisk, Hannah Fisk, Audrey McNaul, Stetson McNaul, and Judson McNaul; three siblings, Ray (Gaynelle) Tice, Janet (Lester) Maudlin and Dave (Penny) Tice; sisters-in-law, Shirley Tice and Roberta Tice along with many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Vernon and Pauline Sadie Tice; husband, Benny Dale Fisk, brothers Roger Loren (Phyllis) Tice, Ronald 'Bud' Stephen Tice, Jerry Richard Tice and Larry Randall Tice; parents-in-law, Alfred and Lucille Fisk; brother-law, Daniel Boone (Irene) Fisk; sisters-in-law, Betty Lou Moore and Peggy Ann Fisk.
