Jamie Buckley, 40 of New Sharon passed away Friday, March 17, 2023. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am Friday, March 24, 2023 at the Lighthouse Church in New Sharon. Visitation will begin after 12:00 pm Thursday, March 23, 2023 at the Lighthouse Church with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  A private family burial will be held at the Union Mills Cemetery. Memorial fund made be established for his son, Jamison Buckley. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of New Sharon is in charge of arrangements.

Jamie Lynn Buckley, the son of Warren Buckley and Carol (Purcell) Davis, was born on July 16, 1982 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He graduated from North Mahaska High School in 2000. Jamie was an extremely hard worker and held his first job at Fareway in Oskaloosa while in high school. Following graduation, he worked at Montezuma Manufacturing, followed by Brownells in Montezuma and then Oskaloosa Food Products before working for Snyder MFG. Inc. in New Sharon where he was currently employed. Jamie enjoyed tinkering around the house and in the garage. He owned five cameros throughout his life and was talking about getting another one. He seemed to always have a project going on and loved it when his son, Jamison, gave a helping hand.  He recently began collecting license plates where he hung them around the house. He enjoyed spending time with his kids, fishing with Jaci, playing Rocket League with Jamison and going for bike rides with his kids.

Jamie is survived by his children, Jaci Buckley of Oskaloosa, Jayden Buckley of Mericopa, Arizona and Jamison Buckley of New Sharon; his father, Warren Buckley of Eldora; his mother, Carol Davis; his siblings, Chad Mossman of Urbandale, Brent (Annie) Mossman of New Sharon and Jacque (Aaron) Patterson of New Sharon; his girlfriend, Jess Lewis of Oskaloosa; life long friend, Jim Davis of New Sharon and many nieces, nephews and friends.
