Jean Mantz, 72, of Delta, died Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2020 in the Springfield Cemetery near Delta. Jean Marie Mantz was born in Springfield, Illinois on August 19, 1947, the daughter of Louis and Nina Dees Bernardini. She attended the Kincaid High School. Jean later moved to Branson, Missouri where she worked as a hotel maid for several years. In 1988 she moved to Delta where she attended the Delta Methodist Church. Jean was a light hearted, fun loving person who lived up to her nickname "Spicy Meatball". She had a love for Elvis Presley and she enjoyed dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.

Jean is survived by a sister, Clara (Ronald) Cary of Edinburg, IL.
