Jeannie, 81, died Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the Pearl Valley Rehab center in Washington. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am on Saturday, December, 22, 2018 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the McFarlan Cemetery at What Cheer. Memorial contributions may be made to the What Cheer Fire and Rescue.

Jeanie Marie Van Patten the daughter of Arthur and Lenora Van Patten was
Born December 23, 1936 in What Cheer, Ia.  Even though Jeanie was never married she cared for and was the fun Aunt to all her nieces and nephews.
Jeanie sold Blair products for many years. She also loved to garden with her mother and make home-made gifts for family and friends.
For the last three years Jeanie has lived in Washington Iowa at Pearl Valley Rehab. where she made many friends and was close to her Niece and Nephew LuLu and Steve Genck.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Brother Arthur most know him as ( Junior)
Those to mourn her passing are her Aunt Shelia Hurd of Marshalltown, Ia,  Nieces and Nephews to follow: Lenora and Tom Donlin  Lindstrom Mn, LuLu and Steve Genck of Washington, Ia, Tina and Joe
Senftle of Darnstown, MD, Steve and Theresa Van Patten of Davenport, Ia, Ted and Paula Van Patten of Gooselake, Ia, James and Laura Van Patten of Cedar Falls, Ia and her Best Friend Jill Q. (Mousey) and her companion Pistol  and many great nieces and nephews.
