Jimmie Larson, 59, of Delta, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.  As per his wishes, his body has been cremated and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.  Holland-Coble Funeral Home of What Cheer is in charge of the arrangements.

Jimmie Jon Larson of Delta was born on February 21, 1963, at Ottumwa, Iowa, to John and Martha Steele Larson.  Jimmie attended and graduated from Ottumwa High School and worked several years for American Coal, ten years at Southern Iowa Diesel and another twenty years as a diesel mechanic.   Jimmie was united in marriage to Patty Patterson on April 11, 2007 in Shawnee Town, Illinois. Jimmie was an avid Harley rider.  He enjoyed collecting firearms and has always been an animal lover.  Jimmie was a member of the Ottumwa Saddle Club and the Soap Creek Rebels.

Jimmie is survived by his wife, Patty; his children, John (Nina) Larson, Fleecia (Travis) Vogt, Tommy (Becky) Davis and Jeremy (Heather) Hull; his grandchildren, Bradley Larson, Jordan Larson, Auriel Hankins, Angelina Larson, Zach Guffey; brother from another mother, Mike "Roach" Heath; and his sisters, Dixie (Ronald) Hariden, LuAnn (Randy) Almon, and Vera Harnden; as well as many other nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Danny Larson; and his sisters, Jenny Larson and Sierra Sue Larson.
