Kathy Webber, 75 of Deep River passed away Friday morning, March 17, 2023 at home in Deep River. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at the United Church in Deep River.  Burial will be held in the Golden Rod Cemetery in Deep River.  Visitation will be held on Monday, March 20, beginning at noon with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in Montezuma.  Memorials may be designated for the Deep River Legion Auxiliary.  Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of the arrangements.

Kathy Diane Webber, the daughter of Merton and Mildred Humphrey Geiger was born on July 18, 1947 in rural Millersburg, Iowa.  She attended and graduated from Deep River Millersburg High School in 1965.  Kathy went on to attend two years of college receiving her AA/AS degree in business.  She was united in marriage to Ron Dye on March 31, 1966.   To this union their daughter Jan was born.  She worked for Nash Finch in Cedar Rapids before moving to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked for Zep Manufacturing as an Administrative Assistant.  After the death of her husband, Kathy was united in marriage to Larry Webber of Deep River on June 13, 1987 at the United Church of Deep River.  She became the bonus mom to three more children, Duc, Anita and Amy.  They lived in Deep River and Kathy became a domestic engineer raising the kids and taking care of her family.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, pulling weeds, birds, cross stitch, reading and flea markets.  Her greatest love was for her family and grandchildren.  Kathy was a member of the United Church of Deep River, the Deep River Legion Auxiliary and the Over 50 Club.

Kathy is survived by her husband, Larry Webber of Deep River; her children, Jan (Scott) Van Waardhuizen of Newton, Duc (Shannon) Webber of Cleburne, Texas, Anita Webber of North English and Amy (Joe) Baetsle of Brooklyn; her grandchildren, Zach, Trent (Samantha), Kaela (Marcelino), Aria, Brittany (Justin),PJ (Hannah), Bobbi Jo, Brandi, Emma, Charlie, and Anna; her great grandchildren, Jamison, Trigger, Grayson and Phoenix; her brothers, Richard (Linda) Geiger of Deep River and Doug (Kay) Geiger of North English; as well as many other nieces, nephews,friends and relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her first husband, Ron Dye.
