Lisa Blythe/Leach, 57, of Ottumwa died Friday, October 16, 2020 at the Hospice Serenity House in Oskaloosa. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday. Burial will be held privately in the Highland Cemetery at What Cheer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family or to the Heartland Humane Society.

Lisa Ann Leach was born December 10, 1962 in Mitchell, South Dakota. She attended Tri-County High School. Later Lisa attended Rasmussen College in Rockford, IL where she studied business finance. She began working part time for Menards in Ottumwa before eventually accepting an Assistant  Manager position with a Menard store in Minneapolis, MN. Over the years Lisa also worked at Target and Casey's. She possessed a strong work ethic her entire life. Even after her fourth cancer diagnosis Lisa remained positive and was a joy to be around.

She is preceded in death by her father, Clifford Blythe.

Lisa is survived by a son, Sean Short of Thailand; her mother, Patricia Blythe of What Cheer; two brothers, Dennis (Maxine) Blythe of What Cheer and Mark Blythe of Cheyenne, WY. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
