Lorri Duggan, 59 of Montezuma passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 24, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in Montezuma. Burial will be held in the Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the family's name. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.

Lorri Annette Duggan, the daughter of Kenton Dea Capper and Vera Rogers, was born on July 11, 1962 in Davenport, Iowa. She was a 1980 graduate of Montezuma High School. Following high school, Lorri moved to Hawaii and bartended on a military base of a short time while meeting her boyfriend, Mark Wetterstrom. Together they had a son, Dereck. She moved back to Montezuma to be closer to family and was then married to Mark Duggan. To this union twin boys were born, Matthew and Michael. Lorri drove school bus for Head Start in Grinnell before driving bus a short time for Montezuma Community School. She then worked for Vermeer Manufacturing for several years until starting her dream job of buying and selling at garage sales and flea markets. She was also a dog breeder and really had a passion for her dogs.  Lorri was best known for her good deals and bargains at local garage sales and especially the What Cheer Flea Market. She enjoyed sewing, painting and was crazy about Christmas music. She enjoyed spending time with her family, having tea time with her mom and getting together with her sisters. She loved going on Jeep rides especially through diamond lake, sitting on her back porch and researching the antiques she just purchased or spending time with Michael's stepdaughter, Amiyah. Her favorite flower was the lilac and her favorite smell was lavender. Lorri was a member of the Lynnville Heart of Worship and the Christian motorcycle Association (CMA).

Lorri's legacy will be honored by her children, Dereck Capper of Iowa City, Matthew Duggan of Montezuma and Michael (Savannah) Duggan of Montezuma; siblings, Deb Killeen, Drent Capper, Sherry (Mike) Nilson, Yanette (Dale) Graham and Cindy (Mick) Gabel along with many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Dea Capper and Vera Rogers.
