Lynn Oliver Hudnut, 77 of Montezuma passed away January 16th, 2023 in his home surrounded by family. A private family service will be held at the family farm in Deep River. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the family's name and may be sent to PO Box 433 106 E St. Irwin Montezuma, Iowa.

Lynn Oliver Hudnut, the son of Oliver and Ada Lucille Hudnut was born on November 6 ^th , 1945 in Grinnell. He was raised on the farm and a 1964 graduate of Montezuma High School. Lynn attended Kansas State before enlisting in the Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. Lynn married Patricia Stock in Montezuma on January 26 ^th , 1982. To this union their daughters, Jackie, Jennifer, & Ceara and their son, Dakota. Lynn farmed with his dad, Oliver, in the Deep River area most of his life. He enjoyed the Iowa Hawkeyes, horseback riding, going to horse & livestock shows, hunting, traveling and sharing these passions with his children.

Lynn is survived by his wife, Patricia of Montezuma; his children, Jackie Hudnut of Montezuma, Jennifer Anderson of Oskaloosa, Ceara (Brant) Smothers of Montezuma, and Dakota Hudnut of Montezuma; a grandson, Mikael Anderson; his brothers Keith Hudnut, Larry Hudnut and his sister Kerry (Rick) Pinkerton.

Lynn is preceded in death by his parents.
