Mary Hartman-Ross, 62 of Columbia, Iowa passed away Friday, May 1, 2026 at the Knoxville Hospital. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at Edmundson Park at Shelter House A; 1304 Edmundson Dr; Oskaloosa, IA 52577 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Feel free to bring your own lawn chairs. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help with Mary's grandchildren. Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.

Mary Ann Hartman-Ross, the daughter of Albert and Violet (Norris) Reeder, was born on February 14, 1964 in Davenport, Iowa. She attended school in Davenport. On February 12, 1982, Mary was united in marriage to Harley James Hartman in Burlington, Iowa. To this union three children, Kay, Junior and Daniel. Mary held several different types of jobs in the food industry throughout life. Following James' death in 2012, she married Bill Ross and they resided in Columbia, Iowa.  She enjoyed riding horses, playing video games, playing cards, animals, her dogs and above all spending time with her grandchildren.

Her memory will be honored by her children, Kay (Eric) Sellers of Grinnell, Junior (Nicole) Hartman of Montezuma and Daniel (fiancé, Tiffany) Hartman of Columbia, IA; her grandchildren, Chiane Hartman, Jaemi Hartman, JD Hartman, Waya Hartman and one due next month, Nova Hartman; a brother, Eddy Dooley of Centerville; a Becky (Jim) Biehn of Indianola; along with many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, James and Bill; a grandson, Kacy Hartman; two sisters, Jeanie (Roy) McFarland and Linda Blake and two brothers, Roger Reeder and Danny Reeder.
