Roger "Hillbilly" Harris, 58, of Keswick, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 8, 2023. A celebration of life service will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in What Cheer. No visitation is planned. A time of food and fellowship with the family will be held at the James Murphy American Legion Hall in Keswick following the service.

Roger Wayne Harris was born in Georgetown, Kentucky on February 26, 1964, the son of Ernest and Lilly Rose Dalton Harris. He possessed a strong work ethic and always took pride in his twenty-three year long career with Street Rods in Montezuma. Roger also served in the United States Army from 1984 until his honorable discharge 1988. He enjoyed play pool, fishing or just hanging out with his friends and family. Roger will certainly be remembered for his great sense of humor, his love of music, and the way he could make any song sound good on his guitar.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Harris and Paul (Rose) Brown.

Roger is survived by his wife of twenty-five years, Brenda Hudson; two sons, Jeremy (Kaylee) Harris and Joshua (Nichole) Harris; three brothers, Eddie (Vanessa) Harris, Jessie (Angela) Harris and stepbrother, John Zekausky; his sister, Sharion (Jeff) Abney; many nieces and nephew as well as his five grandchildren: Camden, Cecilia, Connelly, Amelia and Hayden Harris.
