Scott Worrall, 46 of Montezuma passed away peacefully Saturday evening, August 2, 2025 with his wife, sons and several loved ones by his side. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 in the Community Hope Church Fellowship Hall from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a short welcome and prayer beginning at 5:00 pm.  Holland-Coble Funeral Home of Montezuma is in charge of arrangements.

Scott Allen Worrall was born on June 7, 1979 to Gary and Vera (Wyant) Worrall. He grew up on a farm outside of Deep River, later moving to Montezuma as an adult. He graduated from Montezuma High School in 1997 and then received his degree in Robotics from Indian Hills Community College. Scott was the father of two sons, Brody and Cooper with his first wife, Angie. He then married his wife, Amy, on August 30, 2014. Together they had two fur babies, Dexter and Pearl.

Those who knew Scott, knew that despite his sometimes-grumpy exterior, he had a heart of gold and would help anyone at the drop of a hat. He had a fantastic sense of humor and loved going back and forth with his friends. Scott was such a proud and loving father. He enjoyed spending time with the boys, whether it was taking them bowling or just watching T.V. What mattered the most to Scott was that they were spending time together. He was a devoted husband to Amy, simply responding 'Yes Dear' to anything she asked. While their marriage has been cut short, it was one filled with laughter and love.

Scott loved the Iowa State Fair. Brody and Cooper have awesome memories of going to the fair with their dad. It did not matter if they were camping or staying in a hotel nearby. One of his favorite activities was volunteering (and drinking!) at the Iowa Craft Beer Tent. He was their 3rd customer of the year they opened. The next year he began working/volunteering at the tent. He worked at the beer tent every year but one after that. This was a tradition shared with his friends, Ryan and Monica Hudnut. After years of watching hundreds, if not thousands, of people pop kegs and earn a T-shirt, on August 11, 2024, Scott finally earned a T-shirt of his own.

He was an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan. This began from day one as he was named after a former Iowa basketball player, Scott Thompson. He spent many Saturday mornings cheering on the Hawks from Kinnick Stadium. He also loved rooting for the Chicago Bears.Scott enjoyed golfing and cycling but where his athletic talent really shined was at the bowling alley. He was a member of the USBC and spent many years in a bowling league. Spring Break, aka state bowling, was one of his favorite times of year. Spring Break '08 being one for the memory books.

Scott worked at Montezuma Manufacturing for almost 25 years. He was a hard worker and committed to his job. While he had several roles within the company, one thing remained constant-you do not touch his tools!

Scott is survived by his wife, Amy; his two sons, Brody and Cooper; his mother, Vera; his two brothers, Pat and Danny along with several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a great group of friends that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father Gary on November 10, 2019.

Throughout his illness, Scott faced every battle with courage, positivity and a smile on his face. To quote of his favorite bands, Sublime, "Life is short so loved the one you got".
